Ed OlczykDecember 28, 1992 – The Winnipeg Jets traded Ed Olczyk to the New York Rangers in exchange for Kris King and Tie Domi.

In 25 Games with the Jets in the 1992-93 season, Olczyck had 20 points. he finished the season with the NY Rangers by adding just 29 more points in 46 games.

Tie Domi racked up 249 penalty minutes in 49 Games with the Jets, taking kindly to his tough-guy role in Winnipeg. Kris King added another 136 penalty minutes to go along with 16 points for the Jets that season.

All in all, not a bad trade for the Jets – especially considering they would get Eddie Olczyk back a couple of years later for next to nothing!
