Jets History: February 19
February 19, 2012 – The Winnipeg Jets beat the Colorado Avalanche 5-1 at the MTS Centre.
Bryan Little notched two goals and Blake Wheeler chipped in with four assists on the night. The victory made it three wins in a row for the Jets.
February 19, 1988- Clint Malarchuk recorded his 7th career shutout, and Kevin Hatcher picked up three assists as the Capitals won 6-0 against the Jets, at Winnipeg Arena.
February 19, 1966- Former Winnipeg Jets Right Winger, Peter Douris, was born in Toronto, Ont.
Douris was drafted in the 2nd Round (30th overall) by the Jets in the 1984 NHL Entry Draft. He played just 21 games with Winnipeg between 1985-88 before being traded to St. Louis in 1989.
