January 23, 1995 – Winnipeg Jets star forward, Teemu Selanne, scored once and added three assists while netminder Tim Cheveldae stopped 40 shots to secure 5-3 victory over the Chicago Blackhawks at Winnipeg Arena. This victory came despite being outshot 43-20 in the contest.
January 23, 1992 – Winnipeg Jets goalie Stephane Beauregard turned aside 24 shots for his first career NHL shutout in a 1-0 win at the Spectrum in Philadelphia.
