OK that hurt. The Jets played tight all game and one defensive breakdown in the last minute and a half and they lose crucial points. From what I heard Claude Noel was pretty upset with his team’s performance. That was a very winnable game and they let it slip out of their fingers. Jets get too cute. Enstrom’s return causes roster problems. Jets humbled and the two radically different stories about “stink paws”. These stories and others in today’s links.

The Jets got too cute and it cost them the game. Claude Noel was pissed after the game and rightfully so.  [Winnipeg Free Press]

Enstrom returns but that means that the Jets might lose Flood. [Winnipeg Sun]

The Jets are in the hunt so maybe its time for Chevy to get some firepower. Affordable firepower. [Winnipeg Free Press]

I like Slater, I like Glass but in my opinion Thorburn is more useless than something really useless. The guy works hard and the fans like it but from a pure hockey stand point the guy is a liability. [Winnipeg Free Press]

Stink paw celebration is a new tradition for the Jets. [Winnipeg Sun]

Not Jets related but stink paw related. I didn’t believe this story when I first heard it but it seems like its true. Adult hockey player poops in opponent’s glove. I’m serious. [Deadspin]

The Caps did what they had to do to win and the Jets didn’t. End of story. [Winnipeg Sun]
