Tough loss last night in a game that the Jet had to win. They just don’t have the offense to compete for a playoff birth. They have the talent but for some reason the guys aren’t putting the puck in the net. While some of the blame falls on the players I think Claude Noel needs to be held accountable as well. The players are just executing his game plan. One is not enough. Thorburn is a sniper and the power play has fallen apart. these and other stories in today’s links.

Its sad when the majority of your offense lately has come from Chris Thorburn. [Winnipeg Sun]

The Jets need help but don’t expect Chevy to make a deal for any of the big names available. [Winnipeg Sun]

The power play has return to its early season form, non existent. [Globe & Mail]

Noel tries to jump start Antropov. To be honest I’ve never been impressed with the guy. He has a bunch of talent but he just seems to underachieve. [Winnipeg Sun]
