So today is the Winter Classic. I know the NHL didn’t want to compete with the NFL by having it on Sunday but having it today is just stupid. Most people are back to work and having it in the afternoon is just plain dumb. Way to screw up a great product NHL. Anyway big December for the Jets. A year to remember. Cormier gets sent down and Ducky helps the kid. These and other stories in today’s links.

Big December for the Jets as they set a franchise record but in all honesty its not that impressive since they used to be the Thrashers. I kid, I kid. [NHL]
