I’ve been away for two days. Did you guys miss me? I know I missed my daily Jets News injection. I caught the last 2 periods of the game last night and was impressed by the play of the injury depleted Jets. Pavelec was brilliant in Long Island. The Jets get bitten by the injury bug. Enstrom and Mason out for a while and Kane finally gets it going. Your Friday edition of the links goes now!

I think having four D men out could actually be a positive. It will teach the remaining guys how to actually play D. I noticed less rushes last night and a less chaotic play style in our own end. [Globe & Mail]

When this season started I said the Pavelec would need to be brillant for the Jets to win some games. I love being right. [Winnipeg Free Press]
