Winnipeg Jets Win Game In OT After Puck Is Thrown Into Goal
This game was ended at the 41 second mark after Nelson Emerson of the Winnipeg Jets, Catches a puck in mid-air on a puck clearing by Chicago Blackhawk goaltender Ed Belfour, and threw the puck into the net. In any case, the goal should have been disallowed and a Penalty should have been called against Emerson however; Because the Winnipeg Jets are the most beloved Professional Sports team All-Time; The Goal was allowed! This decision was made even after a “Video Review” was conducted. This sent the Chicago Blackhawks into a rage who surrounded the Referee ( Denis Morel ) and Linesmen ( Mark Pare & Brad Lazanowich ) who continued to argue the goal long after the decision was made
